Product Description:

TAMTECHseal Wet Look Paver Sealer is designed to provide a wet look seal for brick pavers, concrete pavers, stone pavers and other masonry applications. It will seal and protect the surfaces of masonry and concrete while enhancing the beauty. It can also harden and stabilize the sand in the paver joints if required to prevent rain wash-out and weeds from growing. The polymer is UV stable and forms a tremendous bond to the substrate. TAMTECHseal Wet Look also resists weather, water intrusion, efflorescence, freeze thaw damage and staining. The sealer is breathable, thus moisture is not trapped in the substrate. It is an exterior product that can be used on new or existing applications.

Instructions:

Surface must be clean and dry. Remove all dirt, paint, efflorescence, oil and loose debris. A leaf  blower is recommended to remove the dust and debris. Use protective sheeting to cover nearby plants, grass, shrubs, glass, metal and painted surfaces. For paver applications, be sure sand is filled in joints to the required level slightly below the top of the pavers. Completely remove all remaining sand. Apply product with a pump-up sprayer, roller or use low pressure spray equipment, about 10-15 psi with a fan type spray nozzle. Apply a flood coat to saturate the surface. Then installer can use a short nap roller to provide a more uniform finish. On more porous substrates, more than one coat may be required. Do not leave excess or pooled material on the surface. On vertical surfaces, start from the top and apply the sealer uniformly and work down. Brush out run-downs.  Product will dry to the touch in typically 45-60 minutes at 72 degrees F. Keep foot traffic off for 24 hours. Product will take longer to cure in cooler temperatures. Clean equipment with water before it cures.

Coverage:

Concrete & clay pavers: 80-150 sq ft /gal, Stone Pavers: 100-200 sq ft/gal
Bricks:  100-200 sq ft /gal, Concrete: 150-200 sq ft/gal, Retaining Walls: 150-300 sq ft/gal.

 Do not apply product to a damp surface. For exterior applications only. Always do a small test to ensure desired look and performance of the sealer. Do not use on smooth or polished stone. It may become slippery when wet. The minimum application temperature is 45 degrees F for the previous 24 hours. In hot weather it is recommended that product be applied in the cooler morning hours. Concrete should cure for 14 days prior to application.

Shelf Life:

Two years in unopened containers.

Warning:

Over application can cause surface to become slippery when wet. Skin or eye contact may cause irritation. If eye contact occurs, flush will water for 15 minutes. For skin contact, wash with soap and water.
